Preheat the oven to 250°C for the baked potato on cabbage. Grease the baking dish with margarine. Cut potato into flakes, peel garlic and chop coarsely. Put together in a bowl and mix with salt, pepper and peanut oil.
Wash cabbage leaves whole and place a layer in the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, nutmeg and cumin. Lay out a second layer with the rest of the cabbage and season in the same way. Spread the potato mixture on top. Bake for about 15 minutes and crisp for another 5 minutes at top heat only.
Serve the raw potatoes.
