For the sauerkraut, put the sauerkraut with enough water to cover it, add the caraway seeds and let it boil. Prepare a roux with flour and fat.
When it starts to brown, add the finely chopped onion, crushed garlic and paprika.
Pour cold water and add the cooked cabbage, stir in sour cream and boil again.
You can also prepare the sauerkraut with smoked bacon.
