For Baked Onions, peel the onions and chop them into 1 cm thick slices. Melt the butter, add the honey and add the onion rings. Brown briefly, add the wine and stew for 20-30 minutes with the lid closed.
Season with salt, thicken with whipped cream and flavor baked onions with freshly chopped herbs.
