Instructions:

For the Pulled Turkey with Sweet Potato Puree, first preheat the oven to 130 °C bottom heat.

Mix all ingredients for the Pumpkin Spice spice mixture together. Then mix the specified amount of Pumpkin Spice with the remaining spices for the Pulled Turkey.

Wash turkey legs, pat dry and rub with the spices. Peel onion and chop finely. Mix soup, sugar, maple syrup, mustard and soy sauce.

In an ovenproof roaster, place the onion, turkey legs and pour the liquid.

Close the roaster and let the meat cook for about 4 hours. After that, it should be very easy to pull apart and off the bone with a fork.

In the meantime, prepare the sweet potato puree. To do this, boil the sweet potatoes until soft and peel them. Bring milk to a boil with butter and cinnamon, cover with plastic wrap and let steep for about 10 minutes. Remove plastic wrap and cinnamon stick. Add in sweet potatoes and mash until fine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Season the sauce in the roaster with balsamic, add the pulled turkey meat back in and mix the two well.

Serve Pulled Turkey with mashed sweet potatoes.
