Stir light butter or butter with mustard and spread on toast slices. Cover each slice of toast with a slice of cheese and cut the remaining two slices into strips.
Peel the pears and cut them in half. Remove the core, cut the halves into wedges, place on the toasts.
Spread the cheese strips evenly on the pear wedges.
Cut bacon in half and place diagonally on toasts and top with toast slices.
