For the applesauce cake, mix the flour, sugar, eggs, butter and baking powder and knead for a few minutes. Flavor with the spices and a sip of brandy.
Add the apple puree, walnuts and raisins. Pour the dough into mold and bake the applesauce cake at medium heat for about 1 hour.
