For the goose on apples, peel apples first, but do not cut them open or remove the stalk. Wash and drain the raisins. Squeeze the juice of one lemon and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Wash the goose inside and out, dry it and rub it with salt inside and out.
Place the apples in a large roasting pan, sprinkle the raisins and breadcrumbs over them and place the goose on top. Pour the soup around the goose. Add lemon juice, ground cloves, slivered almonds and oil. Cover the goose and steam for 40 min in the preheated oven.
After 40 minutes, remove the lid and roast the goose for another 50 minutes until crispy and brown.
Leave the goose on apples in the open, turned off oven for another 10 min.
Carve the animal and serve the pieces of goose with the roasted apples and juice!
