For the plum dumplings, mix soft butter, curd cheese, egg, flour and salt well and let rest a bit.
Divide into equal parts, cover with pitted plums and form into dumplings, place in low boiling salted water and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
Roast butter and breadcrumbs until light brown, add a little cinnamon and roll the dumplings in it, sprinkle with sugar.
