Season the chops with salt and pepper and sear them in a hot pan for just under 2 minutes on each side, then transfer them to an ovenproof dish.
Briefly sauté the mushrooms, peppers, onion slices and garlic cut into strips with 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan, pour over the white wine and tomato juice and add to the chops.
Cover and cook for about 20 minutes in the oven over medium heat. Garnish the pork chops with crispy fried bacon slices.
