For the potato and cauliflower casserole, first divide cauliflower into florets and cook in salted water until al dente. Boil the potatoes as well and then cut them into slices. Cut the leeks into fine rings and the ham into fine strips.
Now grease the baking dish with butter and place the potato slices on top. Spread the leek and ham over the potatoes and then add the cauliflower florets on top. Beat the egg, mix it with the whipped cream and the spices and pour it over everything.
Finally, sprinkle the cheese on top and bake the potato and cauliflower casserole at 170 degrees for about 20 minutes.
